(The terms, conditions, restrictions and rates
contained herein supercede all those contained in previous service guides.)
NEXT DAY SERVICES
Checking the PRIORITY SERVICE box means that we will deliver the package by 12 noon the next business day at the charge of $7.00 per package. 1,2,3,4 Note: Basic Monthly Rate (BMR), allotment and extra item service charge do not relate to Priority Service.
- Priority Service is available in New Jersey only, and excludes deliveries in Cape May county.
- If not delivered by noon, charge is standard overnight.
STANDARD SERVICE
Checking the STANDARD SERVICE box means that the package will be delivered to
the recipient’s address by the end of the next business day. We will make 2
attempts if the business is closed. All Out of State Business addresses for $151,2,3,4
PROCESS SERVICE
Checking the PROCESS SERVICE box means your package will be personally served on the person or business to which it is addressed. Process service will return an Affidavit of Service to you in addition to the signed delivery slip. Process Service is appropriate for all subpoenas and anything else which requires "personal service". Process Service is done at an additional cost, but we will make unlimited attempts until the job is completed. If the job cannot be completed, there is no cost to you. Process Service will go to any residence and any place of business. Call (908) 686-7300 Ext. 25 for fees or any other questions you may have.

OPTION CHECK BOXES
EXTRA INSURANCE
In consideration of the rate charged, it is agreed that the value of the shipment, whether consisting of one or more items, is not greater than $150.00, unless; (1) shipper tenders shipment with the EXTRA INSURANCE box checked on the front side of the slip and (2) shipper pays the additional fee required for EXTRA INSURANCE. By indicating that the shipment requires extra insurance, the liability of NJ Lawyers Service will increase to a maximum of $2,500.00 for the shipment. NO SIGNATURE
Checking the NO SIGNATURE box means that the package may be left at the recipient’s address even if no person is there at the time of delivery.
PICK-UP FROM RECIPIENT
Checking the PICK-UP FROM RECIPIENT box means that we will pick up from the recipient’s address the next business day. The package will be delivered to the customer’s address on the next business day after the package was picked up. For example, if we receive the slip on Monday, we will pick up the package on Tuesday and return it to the customer’s address on Wednesday.
SAME-DAY SERVICE
Same-Day Service must be ordered by phone. Standard Next-Day pick up will not pick up for Same-Day delivery. Same-day driver will pick up the package and deliver it by the end of the day.

Additional charges will apply for:
- Wait time in excess of 10 minutes
- Weight in excess of 50 lbs.
- Wrong address
- Return trip to sender
- Pickups and deliveries before 8:00 a.m., after 5:00 p.m., or on weekends/holidays.

1 We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Call Process Service at Ext. 25 to inquire about address searches.
2 We do not deliver to private residences unless the address is the recipient’s primary place of business and someone must be there to sign. Private residences, which are not primary places of business, can only be delivered through PROCESS SERVICE or SAME-DAY SERVICE.
3 Customer will be charged for additional delivery attempts that result from incorrect or incomplete addresses.
